First Citizens Banc Corp. is the holding company for The Citizens Banking Company and its Citizens Bank and Champaign Bank divisions, which together operate more than 30 branches in northern Ohio. The banks offer such deposit products as checking and savings accounts and CDs, in addition to trust services. They concentrate on real estate lending, with residential mortgages and commercial mortgages each comprising approximately 40% of the company's loan portfolio. The Citizens Banking Company's Citizens Wealth Management division provides financial planning, brokerage, insurance, and investments through an agreement with third-party provider UVEST (part of LPL Financial).
