Cimarex Energy's energy is devoted to oil and natural gas exploration and production. The independent is focusing its operations developing assets in two regions -- the Mid-Continent and the Permian Basin. The company reported proved reserves in 2015 of about 1.5 trillion cu. ft. of natural gas and 107 million barrels of oil and 124.3 million barrels of natural gas liquids (NGLs). Cimarex Energy's 2015 production averaged 948.5 million cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent per day. In 2015, 63% of its total proved reserves were located in the Mid-Continent region and 37% were in the Permian Basin.
