Chime Communications rings a few bells in advertising circles. The company provides communications services in the advertising, marketing, and public relations fields. Chime operates through nearly 50 agency subsidiaries in its four divisions: public relations, advertising and marketing services, sports marketing, and research. Its largest and best-known subsidiary group is Bell Pottinger, which consists of about a dozen UK PR agencies. Chime also owns research firm Opinion Leader and advertising and marketing companies VCCP, Teamspirit, and Fast Track. Customers have included include Adobe, Levi Strauss, Barclays, and AOL. Chime has offices in about twenty cities around the globe.
