Cheyenne Energy is a junior oil and gas exploration and development company that hunts that most of elusive of preys -- commercially viable hydrocarbons -- in Western Canada. The company drills in Cessford, Camrose, Hawk, and other areas in Alberta, exploiting both natural gas and oil assets, producing about 158 barrels of oil equivalent per day. It holds 23 contiguous sections in the Hawk prospective northwestern Alberta trend. In 2006 Cheyenne Energy had net proved plus probable reserves of 312,000 barrels of oil equivalent and undeveloped landholding of 14,708 net acres.
