Barnes & Noble Education, Inc
Barnes & Noble Education serves more than 5 million students and faculty members in 724 campus stores across the US through its Barnes & Noble College Booksellers flagship. Barnes and Nobles spun off its education division in August  2015 to enable Barnes & Noble Education to set up a capital structure that is tailored to the company’s needs, separate from the more retail-focused needs of Barnes and Nobles. Its near-term goals include the expansion of both the scale and the scope of its business model and pursuing growth opportunities more broadly in the education sector (beyond the traditional college market), and enhancing and expanding its digital assets.
