Forget the dirty dishes. Cascade Bancorp wants to provide sparkling customer service. It's the holding company for Bank of the Cascades, which operates more than 30 branches in Oregon and Idaho. Catering to individuals and small to midsized businesses, the banks offer traditional deposit services like checking and savings accounts, CDs, and IRAs, as well as credit cards and trust services. Commercial real estate loans make up more than half of the company's loan portfolio; business loans comprise nearly a quarter. To a far lesser extent, the bank also originates consumer loans and mortgages.
