Once it receives the shredded automobile, Audubon Metals processes, dries, melts, alloys, and delivers the new aluminum alloy castings to the customer. The company produces 400 million pounds of aluminum alloy per year. By-products such as brass and copper are also recovered from the automobile scrap.
