AudioCodes Ltd.
Secret agents may use AudioCodes to transmit audio signals over networks. The company's voice compression chips and related products turn audio signals into packets that can be sent more efficiently over packet networks, including the Internet, than over traditional telephone networks. AudioCodes' products include signal processing chips, communications boards, and software; it also makes custom modules. The products enable multiple kinds of communications -- such as data, video, or voice -- to be sent across the same network. Customers include 3Com, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel Networks (17% of sales), and Siemens. Customers located in the Americas account for more than half of sales.
