Arista Networks is ready for companies to flip the switch to cloud-based network switches. The company designs and sells high-speed network switches that enable large-scale Internet companies, cloud service providers, and data centers to run faster networks on an updated IT infrastructure platform. Its cloud networking products consist of the Extensible Operating System (EOS), a set of network applications and its 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet switches (the 7050, 7150, 7250X, 7300, and 7500 Series), which are manufactured by contractors Jabil Circuit and Foxconn. EOS supports such virtual networks as VMware NSX and Microsoft System Center. Arista Networks went public in mid-2014, raising $226 million in its IPO.
