The firm (aka NOV Ameron) designs, makes, and markets fiberglass-composite pipes for transmitting oil, chemicals, corrosive liquids, and other specialty materials. Ameron also makes and sells concrete and fabricated steel products used for water transmission and wind towers. Additionally, its infrastructure unit supplies ready-mix concrete and aggregates, box culverts, and sand for construction projects in Hawaii. The firm's pole products division makes concrete and steel poles for lighting and traffic signals. Ameron is a subsidiary of major oilfield equipment maker National Oilwell Varco.
