Alon USA Energy is the driving force behind Alon (formerly FINA)-branded marketing and refining operations throughout the US Southwest. The Delek US Holdings unit provides fuel to 633 Alon-branded retail sites. It owns or operates 309 convenience stores under the 7-Eleven and Alon brands. It also sub-licenses the Alon brand to distributors supplying other locations. Alon USA Energy's refineries in California (two), Louisiana (one), and Oregon (one), have a combined throughput capacity of 144,000 barrels per day. It also indirectly owns a 73,000 barrels-per-day refinery in Texas and is a top asphalt producer. In 2016 the company agreed to buy all of Alon USA Energy.
