Boasting some $470 billion in assets under management, the investment manager offers more than 200 domestic and international mutual funds, as well as managed accounts, hedge funds, and defined-contribution investments, on behalf of individual investors and institutional clients, including public retirement funds, employee benefit plans, foundations, endowments, government entities, and insurance firms. As a subsidiary of AXA, the company also provides retail investors with private client services, managed accounts, annuities, and college savings plans. AllianceBernstein also owns wealth advisor and research firm Sanford C. Bernstein.
