Acme United has the goods for measuring twice and cutting once ... even if you cut yourself in the process. The company supplies measuring instruments (including rulers, protractors, tape measures), cutting devices (scissors, paper trimmers), and safety items (first-aid kits, personal protection products) under the Westcott, Camillus, Clauss, PhysiciansCare, and Pac-Kit brands, as well as under private labels. Acme's products are sold to stationery and industrial supply distributors, office supply stores, drugstores, hardware chains, mass merchants, and florists. Its operations span Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, China, and the US (its biggest market). Chairman and CEO Walter Johnsen owns about 15% of the company.
