AAI flies high, with or without pilots. AAI makes aerospace and defense systems, including unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems for the US military and other customers. Products include automatic test equipment for avionics, electronic warfare test and training systems, and training simulators for combat systems and aircraft maintenance. It also provides engineering, logistics, and maintenance services related to its products. The US military accounts for most of AAI's sales; other customers include foreign militaries and commercial aviation companies. AAI is part of Textron Systems, a subsidiary of transportation equipment, machinery, and parts maker Textron Inc.
