Roundy's, Inc.
If you live in Wisconsin, you can probably find one of these grocery stores right 'round the corner. Roundy's owns and operates more than 160 grocery stores in Milwaukee, the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, and greater Chicago under five banners: Pick 'n Save, Copps Food Centers, Rainbow Foods, Metro Market, and its newest format Mariano's Fresh Market (launched in 2010). More than 100 of the supermarkets have in-store pharmacies. Once a major food distributor to independent grocery stores in the Midwest, Roundy's shed its wholesale operations to concentrate on its growing retail businesses, particularly in Chicago. Founded in Milwaukee in 1872, Roundy's went public in 2012 and was acquired by Kroger in 2015.
